Huws Gray Porthmadog raises £810 for CaruPort

Huws Gray Porthmadog has raised £810 for local community group CaruPort from a raffle held at their open day.

CaruPort are a small group of volunteers, who organise the Christmas lights and other local events in Porthmadog.

Funds were raised during Huws Gray Porthmadog’s open day where customers were given a chance to win a brand-new Charnwood C6. The lucky winner was Bryn Pritchard from Garndolbenmaen (Gwynedd).

A spokesperson on behalf of CaruPort commented: “Thank you very much to Huws Gray Porthmadog, we are delighted with their support. The funds raised will help us continue to support the local community and help towards this year’s Christmas lights display.”

Gareth Jones (Huws Gray Porthmadog Branch Manager) commented: “Our recent open day was a great success, we are delighted to support our local community group CaruPort. Big thanks to all our customers and suppliers who attended and supported the event.”
