Welsh Cup matches

Only two matches in the Huws Gray Alliance this weekend as nine of the league's teams are in Welsh Cup action. Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant will be hoping that home advantage will help them overcome lowly Rhos Aelwyd and move towards mid-table security, whilst Ruthin Town will hope to impress new boss Steve Crompton as they travel to Conwy to face a side that has slipped down into mid-table after a bright start to the season.

In the Welsh Cup, the match of the day involves two of the Huws Gray Alliance favourites as leaders Rhyl travel to fourth-placed Porthmadog who will be hoping to bounce back from a first defeat of the season at Buckley last weekend. The other all Huws Gray Alliance clash sees Deiniol Graham's Llandudno travel to Guilsfield hoping to repeat their recent home league victoryIn-form Buckley will host the in-form league leaders of the Welsh Alliance League, Holyhead Hotspur who will be hoping to be visiting grounds like Globe Way on a regular basis next season.

Other Welsh Alliance clubs hosting Huws Gray Alliance teams are Barmouth who take on Caersws and Denbigh Town who welcome Flint Town United to Central Park.

Third-placed Gap Connahs Quay travel to mid Wales to face inaugural members of the League of Wales, Llanidloes Town, who now play in the third tier, whilst Cefn Druids take on Coedpoeth United from the Welsh National League in a local derby at The Rock.
