A natural flint aggregate containing particles ranging from 4mm to 10mm.

• Dependent on source the material can be either marine dredged or quarried (known as land based).
• When crushed and graded it will have a sub-angular appearance but can be fully rounded when screen graded and not crushed.
• Land based can be dirty/silty.
• When used on driveways it can get stuck in car tyres due to its size.
• Will not interlock due to it being sub-angular.
• Also known as 10mm shingle/gravel, pea shingle/gravel, pipe bedding and drainage aggregate.
